Marine Co-management Field Officer – Tanzanian Nationals only!

Mwambao Coastal Community Network (Mwambao) is an independent not for profit organisation registered in both mainland Tanzania and in Zanzibar.

Mwambao is seeking to employ a Marine Co-management Field Officer to lead the field-based implementation of a project that seeks to improve marine resource co-management in Unguja. This project is being delivered in partnership with Blue Ventures International. The Field Officer will work with Mwambao marine co-management field officer in Unguja under the supervision of the Mwambao Country Coordinator and the Executive Director.

The recruited Field Officer will be based in Unguja, and will spend a lot of time on site visits. The duration will be fifteen months with the opportunity to extend, subject to project funding (there will be an initial 3-month probation period).
