ELECTION OF THE WiMS STEERING COMMITTEE APRIL 2024
The process of electing the new members to the steering committee of the Network for Women in Marine Science began in January 2024 with a notice to WiMS members to nominate candidates. The nomination process has been completed and the candidates are now being presented to members.
Voting eligability
Only registered WiMS members whose have paid their WIOMSA membership fees and registered students are eligible to vote and will receive ballot papers.
Serialized ballot papers, listing the candidates for each category, will be distributed via email to WiMS members. When voting, members must select 6 names from the list of candidates. The candidates who are unopposed automatically qualify as representatives of the respective category.
The ballot paper shall be filled in online, by 25th April 2024. Only votes received during this time will be counted
If you are a registered WiMS member have NOT recived the ballot via email please send an email to wi**@wi****.org as soon as possible to be able to vote in the election.
